Yaaaay, this awful thing is GONE! According to my surgeon, it was inflammed and contorted and had several stones that were all different colors.. GROSS to say the least.. however, I wished I could have had a picture of it, the yukky gallbladder and the stones, right? LOL I am feeling much better day by day.. I hope by this weekend it will be a distant memory.. I doubt it, but one can dream! Onward to funner things! NOTE: DO NOT look up Gallbladder Post-Op images.. Sick!
So I just had my surgery pre-op appiontment and everything is good to go. I’ll have surgery Friday, April 17th! I honestly feel alot better right now, but this is the right decision to get rid of it to avoid any future attacks. I’m also eating more foods, still staying away from the fats, fried, etc. And I can drive now, picking up the girls, taking them to school, etc. Now I just wished the Gallbladder issue would just go away on its own… but I bet not!
I have to get my Gallbladder OUT! But not until I had 2 different Emergency room visits, 2 days admitted to one hospital, 1 visit to my regular family doctor and 2 visits to a Gastrointestinal/Gallbladder specialist. So it started after midnight February 2nd. Woke up about 1 a.m. with the worst pain, bloating and feeling like I would throw up.. I must have ran to the bathroom at least 15 times before, I did throw up once, but very little food, the rest was stomach acid and bile (yuk!). The pain was so bad I could barely move and
